Now! Let’s talk about all things fresh in 2024. We have gathered a few of the top design trends coming this year and we would love to hear if you are looking forward to it, or is it not for you?

We think design trends can be fun! We think they are great inspiration, but we take the time to really get to know what type of things you love to be surrounded by in your home.

2024 Trends

1.) Creating spaces of “Quiet Luxury”. We are seeing trends of luxury and hospitality. Specifically “Quiet” which refers to a more neutral style of luxury with muted tones. The feeling that your own master suite is a luxurious treat that you get to escape to daily. Also—more luxurious kitchens and baths! This means paying attention to all the details. We think beautiful details like European inspired tile, lovely fixtures, and lots of custom-built cabinets will be popular. Interesting yet muted wallpaper, accessories that feel good, and elegant paint colors are going to also be bringing the lux to you.

2.) Warm colors are back! Especially burgundy and plum. After a decade of gray (we still love soothing gray here, as well), we will now see lots of organic inspired colors. Taupe, beige, rust, dark green, and cranberry, burgundy, plum! The warm and inviting pops of color will create interesting vignettes, and luscious places to entertain. Not keen on a velvet cranberry chair? Try some warm toned artwork. Artwork is a way to sneak in stylish elements but not feel like your entire room as to fit the mold of someone else.

*If going the route of bigger warm toned pieces of furniture seems overwhelming, start small. Some warm accent pillows or maybe organic warm tones in beautiful artwork.*
*Throw blankets, accessories, and rugs are also great ways to introduce new colors.*

3.) Romantic details are back! Soft curves in architecture and furniture, a touch of lace or feminine wallpaper, and ambient lighting. We want lots of sconces, candles, and lamps! You will also see lighting that shows up in ambient places for tasks as well, like lights under cabinetry, and LED mirrors. Romantic details often include things that feel cozy, layers of textiles, and organic/round shapes.

An overview: Trends of 2024 will be sophisticated, inspired by romantic cultures and ideas, warm and cozy, and luxurious. If these are not your style—don’t worry. This is YOUR year, remember?
